Matthew Perry was spotted taking a walk in the sun in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 52-year-old former Friends star dressed down for the occasion, wearing a black T-shirt under a flannel shirt, which he paired with comfortable black track pants.

The actor also donned a pair of white slip-on sneakers and stayed hydrated on the outing, carrying a water bottle in hand.

Perry sported a look of messy gray and brown hair that was styled haphazardly, along with a smattering of facial hair.

The actor appeared deep in thought during the leisurely stroll.

Matthew was recently seen with a friend several times over the past few weeks, although it is unknown who the mystery woman is.

It wasn’t the first time the two had been seen together as they have been spotted on several outings since last month.

A household name thanks to his role as the disarming Chandler Bing in Friends, Perry’s drastically different appearance helped him pass without attracting attention.

The actor is reportedly single after calling off his engagement to literary executive Molly Hurwitz in June 2021.

“Sometimes things just don’t work out and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best,’ he said in a statement to PEOPLE at the time.

Perry and Hurwitz started dating in 2018 and confirmed their fiancés in November 2020.

Last year, the actor sparked concerns after his appearance on HBO Max’s Friends: The Reunion, a unique retrospective that saw the cast reunite for the first time since 2004, when the sitcom ended his 10-year run.

Fans noticed Perry’s slurred speech in the promos, which was later treated to be due to an “emergency dental procedure” performed on the day of filming.

The confession of the Massachusetts-born, Ottawa-raised actor, Emmy-winning Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay, replied with concern that the cast “never knew that.”

Perry will talk about his story in more detail when he announces that his memoir, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, will be published this year.

“The highs were high, the lows were low. But I lived to tell the tale, even though at times it felt like I wouldn’t. And it’s all here,” the Whole star shared Nine Yards on his Instagram about the book.

The memoir is set to be released on November 1.
